I wont be specific but I’ve been seeing a lot of adverts promising really high ROI’s from investing in farming.

It’s really interesting to me.

Farming is something I’ve looked into more than once and even though the returns are good (a hen can have maybe 10 chicks), I’ve always been turned off by the factors like mortality, disease and weather which can ruin it all and are beyond me.

I’d rather buy from farmers and process into end user products.

Large scale farming is mostly subsidized by governments even in developed nations to encourage people to keep at it so I wonder how the consistent, high returns being promised are going to be sustained.

I’d invest if I can understand this but like MMM and Forex investments which I’ve never been able to understand, I wont be caught by this.
